Pedro Pimenta

Mostly a collector of the games and consoles that I remember from the 90's, but also interested in researching and collecting videogames made in Portugal. Some later games are also included here but they are not my main interest.

I only collect complete in box consoles and games that were sold in Portugal (portuguese editions ou officially imported back in the day).

Sometimes the best (and only) way to get a game complete is to buy it sealed, that's why I have so many in this condition.

Computers (7)

My computer collection, ranging from the Zx Spectrum to the Pentium Era

Consoles (22)

My console collection, including portables, both oficial and clones

All complete in box except for the Game Gear, Philips CD-i and my childhood's Playstation 1

Boxed Acessories (26)

A collection of original boxed acessories for consoles and computers.

Trying to get mostly portuguese editions, but the Game Gear ones have been imported as they are very hard to find on the wild.

LCD Games (15)

A collection of complete in box Lcd games, started when I got my first brick game in the late 90's, that got me addicted to these kinds of games.

Later I realized that in the 80's very good quality games were being made specially in Japan but also Hong Kong and these ones, the hardest to find nowadays are my main focus.

I also have some later models, mainly tamagotchi clones and some chinese brick games imitating famous consoles.

Pirate Spectrum Games (140)

All the games here were made abroad, maybe in England or Spain, all have color covers, with a few exceptions and are all portuguese releases, meaning that they are not originals but old pirated games.

That means that the tapes were generic and only the inlays were professionally made in a print shop.

This collection started in late 2016, when I began to collect more seriously and although I considered for a while not to begin collecting for this computer, I became attached to these games.

A lot of them came as part of lots together with computers and I would feel bad parting with them, knowing it won't be easy to get other ones if I later want to, specially knowing that a lot of them are translated to portuguese or have portuguese instructions on tape.
