When I got my first Spectrum in 1982 and bought my 128K in 1986, I didn't know that in other parts of the world, copies were made and sold: my world then was no bigger than the country I live in (NL) and the birthplace of the Spectrum (UK).

Through the internet, I got to learn about the various official licenced and not so official copies and clones of the Spectrum. That's when I decided to start this collection.
